Job summary

Talnt in Colorado Springs seeks an Audit & Assurance Manager to lead engagements end-to-end, from planning through issuance, partnering with CFOs and senior leaders. You will guide Seniors and Staff, apply GAAP/GAAS, and manage engagement economics across multiple client relationships.

You will also help develop the team, strengthen client trust, and contribute to the growth of the practice while navigating a hybrid in-office schedule in Colorado Springs.

Qualifications

• Experience leading audits and assurance engagements.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/GAAS and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit, review, and assurance engagements from planning through completion and issuance.
• Serve as primary client contact, building relationships with CFOs and senior management.
• Understand business drivers behind financial statements and advise on accounting matters.
• Lead engagement strategy, risk assessment, and audit execution.
• Review statements, workpapers, and documentation for quality and compliance.
• Manage engagement budgets, staffing, timelines, and profitability.
• Identify issues early and communicate recommendations to clients and firm leadership.
• Lead, coach, and develop Seniors and Staff on engagements.
• Drive practice development and contribute to firm growth.
