Abacus is seeking a Sr. Manager, Audit to lead multiple engagements from planning to issuance, delivering high-quality client service. You will oversee teams, manage budgets, and nurture client relationships, driving growth and adherence to standards.

The role requires 7+ years of public accounting experience and a CPA license, with flexibility for travel within the service area. Based in Fayetteville, AR or Springfield, MO, offering a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 7+ years of audit experience in public accounting (or equivalent assurance experience).
• CPA license required.
• Experience leading engagements and supervising teams.
• Industry experience is a plus and a plus for growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple audit engagements from planning through issuance.
• Provide technical leadership on complex accounting and auditing matters.
• Manage and coach engagement teams with direction and feedback.
• Own client relationships at the engagement level.
• Manage engagement budgets, timelines, and profitability.
• Contribute to practice development and training initiatives.
• Stay current on auditing standards and regulatory changes.
