The ideal candidate will manage engagements from planning to completion, maintain client relationships, and stay current on accounting standards and industry trends within a professional services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 3-6 years of relevant audit experience within a CPA firm.
• Experience in professional service environments; CPA licensure progress preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex audit procedures including substantive testing and analytical review.
• Review workpapers and audit evidence for accuracy and standards compliance.
• Collaborate with partners, managers, and clients to develop audit plans.
• Identify key risk areas and necessary resources for engagements.
• Analyze financial statements and disclosures to identify issues.
• Evaluate internal control systems and provide improvement recommendations.
• Serve as main client contact and maintain professional relationships.
• Supervise and mentor audit staff; provide feedback and training.
• Lead audit engagements from planning through completion within timelines and budgets.
• Stay current with evolving accounting standards and apply on engagements.
