Job summary

UHY International is seeking an Audit Senior Accountant to lead and execute attestation engagements, oversee client relationships, and guide staff to deliver high-quality results in accordance with accounting standards.

The role emphasizes planning engagements, supervising staff, and staying current with evolving accounting standards, with frequent travel to client sites as needed. Strong communication with clients and internal teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 3 – 6 years of relevant audit experience within a CPA firm.
• Experience in a professional services environment is preferred.
• Actively working towards CPA licensure or relevant certification, if not yet attained.
• Responsible for completing the minimum CPE credit requirement.

Responsibilities

• Audit Execution: Perform complex audit procedures including substantive testing, control testing, and analytical review to evaluate accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
• Review workpapers, documentation, and audit evidence prepared by audit staff for accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Collaborate with partners, managers, and clients to develop comprehensive audit plans tailored to client needs and risks.
• Identify key areas for audit focus, potential risks, and necessary resources.
