Job summary

UHY International is seeking an Audit Senior Accountant to lead planning and execution of attestation engagements for clients, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and delivering high-quality work. You will supervise staff, manage client relationships, and collaborate with partners to provide insightful recommendations.

Travel may be frequent; a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 3–6 years of audit experience in a CPA firm are required, with active pursuit of CPA licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 3–6 years of audit experience in a CPA firm.
• Active pursuit of CPA licensure or relevant certification.

Responsibilities

• Audit Execution: perform complex audit procedures, review workpapers and evidence.
• Financial Statement Analysis: analyze statements, disclosures and supporting docs.
• Internal Controls Assessment: evaluate controls and provide recommendations.
• Client Communication: act as main client contact and maintain relationships.
• Team Supervision: supervise and mentor staff, provide feedback and training.
• Engagement Leadership: lead engagements from planning to completion and manage budgets.
• Technical Research: stay current with accounting standards and industry trends.
• Reporting and Documentation: ensure accuracy of audit docs and final reports.
• Continuous Improvement: pursue learning and improvement of processes.
