Job summary

MBE CPAs is seeking an experienced Auditor in Chandler, AZ to lead audit engagements and mentor staff. You will plan, perform and review procedures while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering high-quality reporting.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in public accounting, a Bachelor’s in Accounting, and CPA consideration. On-site preferred, with hybrid/remote options for experienced talent.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of audit experience in a public accounting firm.
• Experience supervising or mentoring staff during audits.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA certification desired or ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing client financial records to identify issues and propose solutions.
• Planning and performing audit procedures per standards.
• Ownership of assigned audits, coordinating workflow and schedules.
• Supervising, training, and mentoring staff accountants and associates.
• Reviewing work and providing constructive feedback.
• Building and strengthening client relationships, understanding client businesses.
• Communicating with clients to discuss findings and address questions.
• Collaborating with Audit Managers and Partners to complete engagements.
