Job summary

MBE CPAs is seeking an experienced audit professional to lead engagements and mentor junior staff. You will analyze complex financial records, plan procedures, and ensure timely, high-quality work while fostering strong client relationships.

Applicants should have a CPA or be willing to obtain certification, with a preference for onsite work but openness to hybrid/remote for experienced talent. 3+ years of public accounting audit experience is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of audit experience at a public accounting firm.
• Experience supervising or guiding staff during audits.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• CPA certification highly desired or ability to attain.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements and guide junior team members through the audit process.
• Analyze client financial records to identify accounting issues and propose solutions.
• Plan and perform audit procedures per standards.
• Coordinate workflow and ensure timely, accurate work.
• Review staff work and provide constructive feedback.
• Develop and strengthen client relationships and understand client businesses.
• Collaborate with Audit Managers and Partners to complete engagements.
