MBE CPAs is seeking an Audit / Assurance Manager to lead client relationships and oversee audits in compliance with GAAP. The role emphasizes mentoring staff, building client trust, and delivering strategic recommendations to support financial and tax decisions.

Success requires in-depth audit experience and a Bachelor's in Accounting, with CPA certification highly valued or a plan to obtain it. Onsite is preferred, with hybrid/remote considered for experienced talent.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of audit experience at a public accounting firm.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• CPA certification highly desired or ability to attain.
• Candidates that are willing to work onsite preferred, but willing to consider hybrid/remote work for experienced talent.

Responsibilities

• Audit / Assurance Managers are responsible for managing client relationships while auditing their financial records for compliance to generally accepted accounting rules and standards.
• Training, mentoring and managing team members in audit processes.
• Building new and strengthening existing client relationships while demonstrating basic knowledge of clients' businesses.
• Communicating and meeting with clients as requested; providing recommendations to assist clients with financial or tax needs.
