MBE CPAs in the United States is seeking an In-Charge Audit professional to lead engagements, mentor junior staff, and grow client relationships while guiding teams through audit processes.

The role emphasizes ownership of engagements, adherence to auditing standards, and effective communication with clients and senior leadership. Onsite is preferred; hybrid/remote options may be considered for experienced talent.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of audit experience at a public accounting firm.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; CPA certification highly desired or ability to attain.
• Candidates willing to work onsite preferred, but hybrid/remote work considered for experienced talent.

Responsabilités

• Analyzing client financial records to identify accounting issues and researching solutions.
• Plan and perform audit procedures in line with standards.
• Take ownership of assigned audit engagements and coordinate workflow.
• Supervise, train, and mentor staff accountants and audit associates.
• Review work and provide constructive feedback to staff.
• Build and strengthen client relationships and understand clients' businesses.
• Communicate with clients to request information and discuss findings.
• Collaborate with Audit Managers and Partners to complete engagements.
