Job summary

Novogradac seeks a Senior Accountant to lead audit and attest engagements for diverse clients. You will mentor staff, manage engagements, and strengthen client relationships while enhancing technical audit expertise within the firm.

In addition to auditing, you will develop deep knowledge of the tax/audit practice and contribute to project profitability. A CPA path is encouraged and supported.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in accounting or finance with 2–3 years in public accounting; CPA exam progress is a plus.
• Strong understanding of accounting and auditing rules.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Complete audit and attest projects for designated clients with minimal oversight.
• Conduct engagement reviews and manage workloads across staff.
• Identify issues and propose effective solutions during engagements.
• Perform data gathering, analysis, reporting, and recommendations.
• Maintain client relationships with professionalism and responsiveness.
• Develop auditing skills and pursue CPA licensure.
