Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an Atlassian SME to architect and customize Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management for a DoD space systems customer. You will build workflows, dashboards, and reports, translating user requirements into automated and semi-automated Jira processes.

Strong coding with JQL/SQL/HTML is expected, plus REST API and Git for integration. You’ll engage with demanding operations teams, ensure best practices, and leverage SAFe/Agile methods to deliver high-quality service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience setting up and supporting Atlassian tools (Jira/Confluence).
• Expert knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management.
• Strong SQL and JQL querying and scripting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Extensive knowledge of Atlassian Jira and Confluence products.
• Experience customizing workflows, dashboards, and reports; full stack development experience.
• Advanced SQL and JQL queries.
• 5+ years configuring Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
• Automating and extending Jira/Confluence functionality, including scripting.
• 5+ years using REST API for Jira and Confluence.
• 5+ years using Git and branching models.
• Familiar with SAFe, Agile, and Jira methodologies.
• Front end development using JavaScript, Angular, HTML, CSS, REST APIs, and Java.
• 5+ years interacting with clients.
• Experience with DoD programs and acquisition processes.
