Job summary

ServiceRocket, a global tech-enabled services company headquartered in Palo Alto, California, is seeking an experienced Atlassian Consultant to design, implement, and optimize solutions across Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket. You will lead customer engagements, gather requirements, and guide teams through complex technology transformations, primarily within the Atlassian ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics or related disciplines.
• 5+ years as Atlassian Consultant or Jira Administrator.
• Proven experience with installations, upgrades, migrations, workshops, integrations, and training for Atlassian products.
• Strong consulting and client-engagement skills.
• Excellent analytical and communication abilities.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Groovy, Perl, Ruby, Shell).
• Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement high-quality solutions including architectural system design.
• Facilitate customer discussions to gather requirements and draft implementation plans.
• Provide guidance and recommendations based on best practices.
• Support rollout, adoption, and scaling of solutions.
• Manage customer engagements including scheduling and communications.
• Advise on internal tools and processes as a senior technical team member.
• Position yourself as a subject matter expert and engage with the community.
• Assist with proposal development and statements of work.
• Engage with potential customers on sales calls as a technical resource.
