Job summary

Shield AI is seeking a highly technical Atlassian Administrator (Cloud) to manage and extend Jira, Confluence, and Service Management across the enterprise. You will implement REST API integrations, automate workflows, and govern Atlassian Access, with a focus on scalable enterprise solutions.

The role may be based in San Diego, Dallas, or Washington, D.C. and requires strong hands-on experience with Atlassian Cloud, Jira workflows, and DevOps toolchain integrations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Atlassian administration experience.
• Hands-on with Atlassian Cloud environments.
• Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and automation.
• Experience with DevOps toolchains and enterprise integrations.
• Advanced Jira workflows, schemes, permissions, configs.
• Experience administering Atlassian Access (SSO/SCIM).
• Strong JQL, dashboards, and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Scripting experience (Python, Groovy).
• Experience with large-scale deployments (1000+ users).
• Familiarity with ITIL, governance, compliance.
• Experience with Power BI and Tableau integrations.
• Azure services integrations (Azure DevOps, Entra ID).

Responsibilities

• Administer Atlassian Cloud: Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence.
• Design and optimize workflows, schemes, automation, and governance.
• Develop and maintain REST API integrations and webhooks.
• Build integrations with DevOps toolchains, CI/CD, identity providers, collaboration tools.
• Configure and support marketplace apps.
• Administer Atlassian Access (SSO, SCIM, security policies).
• Design advanced dashboards and complex JQL reports for execs.
• Implement data synchronization between Atlassian and external systems.
• Perform system health checks, audits, and monitoring.
• Create technical docs and integration standards.
• Support cloud migrations and post-migration optimization.
