Job summary

University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for the Executive Associate Athletics Director, Business & Finance. This role provides executive leadership for fiscal management, budgeting, and business operations within UNLV Athletics, reporting to financial leadership and collaborating with campus partners.

Responsibilities include budgeting, long-range financial planning, financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with GAAP, GASB, NCAA and university policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business management or related field from an accredited college or university; Master’s preferred.
• 8+ years of related professional work experience in financial accounting and reporting, cash management and budgeting/finance.
• 5-7 years supervisory experience; credentials must be obtained before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for fiscal management, budgeting, and business operations of UNLV Athletics.
• Develop, implement, and oversee the department’s annual operating budget and long-range financial planning.
• Oversee cash management, financial reporting, contract administration, and fiscal forecasting to ensure financial health.
