Job summary

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas seeks an Assistant Director for Fund Management and Reporting within the Financial Aid Office. The role focuses on monitoring financial aid accounts, reconciling them across systems, and ensuring proper transfer of funds before disbursement.

You will produce regular internal and external reports, respond to data requests, and collaborate with DFAS, AVPEM, and other campus offices to inform budget decisions and identify trends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 3–5 years of related professional experience.
  • 3–5 years of supervisory experience and 1–3 years of management experience.
  • Experience in account management or direct accounting responsibilities for diverse fund types.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and reconcile financial aid accounts across systems (PeopleSoft, Workday, G5, COD).
  • Verify UNLV Foundation transfers before disbursing scholarship funds.
  • Prepare regular reports for the DFAS and AVPEM and for decision support and auditors.
  • Run queries and maintain reports on financial aid programs and office statistics.
  • Finalize and close fiscal year accounts and assist in audit preparation.
