Job description

  • Primary Requirement: ATE Test Engineering experience focused on Mixed-Signal IC Verification, Validation, and Testing.
  • Non-Negotiable Skill: Strong hands-on experience with the Kohu DXV/DXG platform for ATE testing.
  • Mixed-Signal Experience: Candidates must have experience developing and executing test methodologies for mixed-signal ICs, not purely digital testing.
  • ATE Test Program Development: Strong experience developing ATE test programs, test plans, test cases, characterization, and production test solutions.
  • DIB Board Experience: Experience designing/developing or working with DIB (Device Interface Board) solutions that connect the ATE tester to the IC/device.
  • Alternative ATE Platforms: If candidates with Kohu experience are difficult to find, profiles with strong experience on Teradyne, Advantest, Chroma, SPEA, or similar ATE platforms may be considered.
  • Important: Kohu experience remains the preferred/mandatory skill; alternate-platform candidates should only be considered if strong Kohu candidates are unavailable.
  • Legacy Platform Migration: Experience transferring or migrating test cases/programs from legacy or other ATE platforms to the Kohu platform is highly valuable.
  • Internal Program Names: Experience with Vega IC, Aviar platform, and Sierra IC is not mandatory; these are internal program names.
  • Candidate Search Focus: Prioritize candidates with deep ATE test engineering experience, mixed-signal testing, test-plan development, DIB board knowledge, and characterization.
  • Interview Process: Two interview rounds – first with the Capgemini SME, followed by an interview with the customer.
  • Urgency: The requirement has been open for an extended period, and additional qualified resumes are requested as soon as possible.
  • Submission Strategy: Due to the limited availability of Kohu-skilled candidates in the U.S., suppliers should broaden the search to strong ATE engineers with comparable platforms while continuing to prioritize Kohu experience.
