ManpowerGroup Global, Inc. is seeking a Verification Engineer 5 in San Jose, CA to join the ASIC/SoC verification team.

The role focuses on functional verification of complex ASIC blocks and IP cores for CPU/GPU development, requiring strong C/C++ skills in a Linux environment and experience with Verilog/SystemVerilog. The position offers exposure to cutting-edge ASIC verification practices, collaboration with a talented team, and opportunities to advance in a dynamic hardware development

Qualifications

• 10+ years of verification experience on large ASIC projects or equivalent hardware/software/firmware experience.
• Strong background in C/C++ development within a Linux environment.
• Proficiency with debugging tools such as GDB and Valgrind.
• Knowledge of OOP, STL, computer architecture, and data structures.
• Experience with Verilog, SystemVerilog, SystemC; familiarity with DPI/PLI in C/Verilog environments.

Responsibilities

• Participate in functional verification of complex ASIC blocks and IP cores for CPU/GPU development.
• Collaborate with design and verification engineers to verify design functionality within system context.
• Develop and execute detailed test plans, including directed and constrained-random tests in simulation.
• Adopt evolving verification methodologies to verify increasingly complex SoCs within tight schedules.
• Utilize hardware modeling and assertion-based verification methods to ensure design integrity and performance.

Our client, a leader in the semiconductor and hardware development industry, is seeking a Verification Engineer 5 to join their dedicated team. As a Verification Engineer 5, you will be part of the Verification Department supporting innovative ASIC development projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: San Jose, CA

Pay Range:$100-$102 on W2

What's the Job?

• Participate in the functional verification of complex ASIC blocks and IP cores for CPU/GPU development efforts.
• Collaborate with design and verification engineers to understand and verify design functionality within system context.
• Develop and execute detailed test plans, including directed and constrained-random tests during simulation.
• Adopt and implement evolving verification methodologies to verify increasingly complex SoC designs within tight schedules.
• Utilize hardware modeling and assertion-based verification methods to ensure design integrity and performance.

What's Needed?

• Over 10 years of proven verification experience on large ASIC development projects or relevant hardware/software/firmware experience.
• Strong background in C/C++ development within a Linux environment.
• Proficiency with debug tools such as GDB and Valgrind, along with excellent debugging skills.
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented programming, STL, computer architecture, and data structures.
• Experience with Verilog, SystemVerilog, SystemC, and familiarity with DPI/PLI in C/Verilog environments is preferred.
