Job summary

Our client, a leader in manufacturing and electromechanical products, seeks a Manufacturing Test Engineer in Wilmington, MA. You will own the end-to-end test strategy, influence design-for-test, and collaborate across engineering, validation and quality to deliver scalable test systems.

The role requires a BS in a technical field and 10+ years of experience designing inline and end-of-line tests using LabVIEW, TestStand, or Python automation, with emphasis on data pipelines for real-time

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of manufacturing test engineering experience for electromechanical or robotic products.
• Hands-on experience deploying inline and end-of-line test systems, including test sequence creation and data collection.
• Proficiency with LabVIEW, NI TestStand, or Python-based automation and related DAQ hardware.
• Ability to design test data pipelines for dashboards and real-time production visibility.

Our client, a leader in manufacturing and electromechanical products, is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer to join their team. As a Manufacturing Test Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting manufacturing and validation teams. The ideal candidate will have strategic thinking, technical credibility, and excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $88.00

What's the Job?

• Define and own the end-to-end manufacturing test strategy across product build iterations from prototype to high-volume production.
• Influence product architecture, interface design, and tolerance strategies to enhance testability and drive design-for-test considerations upstream.
• Create clarity from ambiguity by establishing test frameworks, standards, and decision criteria to guide engineering teams.
• Partner with engineering, validation, and quality teams to align validation requirements with production test capabilities and translate validation intent into scalable test solutions.
• Architect and deploy manufacturing test systems, including test stations, HIL rigs, and inline functional/parametric tests, optimized for throughput and operator efficiency.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of manufacturing test engineering experience for electromechanical or robotic products, including experience in both NPI/prototype and high-volume environments.
• Hands-on experience developing and deploying inline and end-of-line functional test systems, including test sequence creation and parametric data collection.
• Proficiency with test software/frameworks such as LabVIEW, NI TestStand, or Python-based automation, along with DAQ hardware and instrumentation.
• Ability to architect and implement test data pipelines for dashboarding, analytics, and real-time production visibility.
