Renesas Electronics Corporation seeks a Senior Staff Test Engineer to define long‑term ATE roadmaps and architect scalable testing platforms for power management ICs. You will lead cross‑functional collaboration with Product, Quality, Design and Validation engineering to drive test strategy from product definition to global production release.

The role demands extensive ATE experience on high-end platforms, leadership in test architecture, and a commitment to world-class quality and reliability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with 10+ years semiconductor experience (Staff/Senior Staff level).
• ATE mastery with 10+ years on high-end platforms (V93K, COHU Diamondx, SPEA DOT800, ETS364).
• 8+ years in ATE test development for mixed-signal, high-power ICs; experience with multi-die modules desirable.
• Proficient in C++ and Python, with production-grade automation and test APIs.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the technical strategy for next‑gen ATE test solutions to support NPIs and quality initiatives.
• Architect and govern baseline software frameworks and hardware architectures for scalable test platforms.
• Lead design-for-test guidelines and quality planning for complex multi-die and power modules.
• Spearhead product qualification, characterization, and cross‑platform correlation strategies for power delivery tech.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering, Design and Operations to enable seamless production ramps and global releases.
• Provide executive oversight for yield optimization, cost reduction, and critical customer return resolution strategies.
• Mentor staff across levels and foster a culture of engineering excellence and governance.
• Strategically manage 3rd party relationships with foundries and OSAT teams.
