Job summary

SAIC seeks an experienced, full-time Air Traffic Control Instructor to join the CTS team at the Anchorage ARTCC (ZAN) in Anchorage, AK, supporting FAA training services. The role is hands-on, delivering high-quality classroom and simulation training for developmental controllers and CPCs.

The successful candidate must have US citizenship, five years of FAA CPC experience at the same type of facility, and CPC certification with the ability to obtain Instructor‑II credentials.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Five (5) years of FAA CPC experience controlling live traffic or recent experience as a contract Instructor at an FAA facility, at Anchorage ARTCC (ZAN) or equivalent.
• Experience interfacing with FAA personnel at all levels to ensure training needs are met.
• Strong teaching and platform skills with a student-focused approach to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality classroom and/or simulation laboratory training to a wide variety of students.
• Mentor and support students and Remote Pilot Operators as needed.
• Participate in curriculum design and development for training programs.
• Maintain required CPC/instructor certifications and stay current with FAA training standards.
