Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced Casual, Air Traffic Control Instructor-II to join the CTS team at the Nashville ATCT / TRACON (BNA) in Nashville, TN, supporting FAA training services. The role focuses on delivering high-quality classroom and simulation training to developmental air traffic controllers and CPCs.

Qualified candidates will have FAA CPC experience, ATC simulator experience, and the ability to mentor students and design curricula.

Qualifications

US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Five (5) years of FAA CPC experience controlling live traffic, or recent experience as a contract Instructor at an FAA facility at the Nashville ATCT / TRACON (BNA) level.
FAA CPC certification required with the ability to obtain and maintain Instructor-II Simulation Laboratory and Classroom Certification.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality classroom and/or simulation laboratory training to a wide variety of students including developmental air traffic controllers and CPCs.
May mentor students and Remote Pilot Operators (RPO) and participate in curriculum design and development.
Support training services for FAA facilities and ensure training meets local facility needs and FAA mission.
