Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an Assurance Experienced Manager to supervise audit engagements from planning through wrap-up, while driving business development and profitability. You will mentor staff, review work product, and communicate complex accounting issues to clients and governance bodies.

The role emphasizes strong GAAP/GAAS knowledge, ability to advise on regulatory matters, and engagement budgeting, with on-site oversight during field work for diverse clients in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, required; major in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics, preferred
• Master’s in Accountancy, preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise Associates and Senior Associates on projects
• Review work papers and conclusions, onsite during audits
• Provide on-the-job-training during audit field work
• Ensure engagement profitability including billings and collections
• Advise clients on regulatory risks and GAAP/GAAS issues
• Prepare communications to management and audit committees
• Plan audits and oversee execution with quality and timeliness
