Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an Assurance Manager to supervise, direct, and review audit engagements through planning, field work, and wrap-up stages. The role includes marketing, networking, and business development while ensuring engagement profitability via billings and collections.

Responsibilities include advising on financial reporting risks, applying GAAP/GAAS, reviewing work, and developing staff, with client interactions at the Audit Committee level.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of audit or public accounting experience.
• 2) Active licensed US CPA or equivalent required.
• 3) Supervisory experience required.
• 4) Industry expertise in assurance preferred.
• 5) Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• 6) Ability to manage engagement profitability including billings and collections.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Associates and Senior Associates on audits.
• -Review workpapers and provide comments to engagements.
• -Mentor staff and provide on-the-job training during field work.
• -Coordinate with clients and audit committees on results and findings.
• -Ensure compliance with GAAP/GAAS and regulatory guidelines.
• -Support business development and client relationship growth.
