Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an Assurance Experienced Senior, Third Party Attestation in Melville, NY to lead the preparation, validation and testing of third‑party attestation reports, including SOC 1/2/3, SOC for Cybersecurity, HITRUST, ISO, MRC and CSA STAR. You will apply governing standards to document and assess internal controls and specialize in the technology risk umbrella rather than ITGC audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Computer Science, MIS, Business Admin, Managerial Marketing and Entrepreneurship, Finance or Economics, required.
• Masters degree in Accounting and minor or dual major in Information Systems or other relevant advanced degree, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess risks; document and test control effectiveness.
• Coordinate planning, fieldwork and budgets; supervise staff and manage engagement progress.
• Develop test programs; document working papers and attestation reports; communicate results to client.
• Coach junior staff and ensure adherence to professional standards and firm methodology.
