Job summary

BDO USA in Melville, NY seeks an Assurance Senior, Third Party Attestation to prepare SOC 1/2/3 and related reports, documenting and testing client controls. The role focuses on technology risk and control assessment within diverse engagements.

You will apply auditing standards, supervise junior staff, and help clients strengthen internal controls while ensuring adherence to BDO methodology and professional guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; focus in Accounting, IT, or MIS preferred.
• Master's degree preferred or equivalent professional certification.
• Two+ years in IT/audit or related SOC/HITRUST experience is expected.
• Experience with SOC, WebTrust, HITRUST, ISO or similar engagements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare third-party attestation reports (SOC 1/2/3, SOC for Cybersecurity, WebTrust).
• Document, validate, test, and assess client control systems and internal controls.
• Apply professional standards and BDO methodology to engagements.
• Supervise and mentor Associates; communicate findings to engagement teams.
• Support clients in improving control environments and reporting accuracy.
