Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an Assurance Associate, Third Party Attestation to prepare and validate attestation reports such as SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3, SOC for Cybersecurity, and related standards. You will document, test, and assess client control systems across various industries, with emphasis on technology risk and advisory services.

You will develop expertise in professional standards, apply auditing theory, and contribute to engagement teams while leveraging BDO methodologies and client-facing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Master’s degree in Accounting or related advanced degree is preferred.
• Experience with IT audits or SOC engagements is preferred.
• Prior internship or public accounting/internal audit experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare SOC 1/2/3, SOC for Cybersecurity, HITRUST, ISO, and other attestation reports.
• Document, validate, and test internal controls for client environments.
• Assist in identifying key risks and communicating improvements to clients.
