Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking an Assurance Senior, Third Party Attestation in Rochester, NY. The role focuses on preparing SOC reports (SOC 1/2/3, SOC for Cybersecurity), HITRUST, ISO, and related attestations, documenting control environments, and testing controls across industries.

The position requires 2+ years in IT/audit, with supervisory experience preferred; candidates should have strong knowledge of professional standards and drive effective client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; focus in Accounting, CS, MIS, Business Admin, Finance or Economics preferred.
• Two or more years of IT/audit experience required; supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience performing SOC, WebTrust, HITRUST, SOX, ISO 27001 and security/privacy advisory engagements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare third-party attestation reports (SOC 1/2/3, SOC for Cybersecurity, WebTrust for CAs).
• Document and validate operating effectiveness of client internal controls; test control environments.
• Supervise staff, review work, and coordinate with clients and engagement teams.
