Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking an Assurance Associate, Third Party Attestation to prepare SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3, and related reports, including HITRUST, ISO, and CSA STAR frameworks. The role involves documenting, validating, testing, and assessing various control systems for clients across industries.

The position focuses on understanding technology risk within ITGC and related control environments, contributing to engagement delivery, and supporting continuous improvement for client internal controls.

Qualifications

• Less than one year of IT or internal/external audit experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Applies knowledge of policies, laws, rules, and regulations as part of the engagement team.
• Documents and validates the operating effectiveness of clients' internal control systems.
• Tests key controls for service organizations across industries and documents findings.
• Communicates to client areas to improve processes, strengthen controls, mitigate risks, and increase efficiency.
• Develops and maintains relationships with client personnel and management.
