Job summary

BDO USA in Raleigh, NC seeks an Assurance Experienced Senior to coordinate day-to-day audit activities, including planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up, and to prepare financial statements with disclosures under GAAP. You will act as the client contact and may participate in reviews and agreed-upon procedures engagements.

The role requires directing the engagement team, ensuring quality, and applying professional standards across SEC/PCAOB, GAAS, and current accounting rules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics; CPA required or pursuing; Master’s in Accountancy preferred
• Three+ years of prior audit experience; supervisory experience preferred
• CPA eligible and pursuing completion; CPA preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise audit staff and review workpapers and conclusions
• Coordinate planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up to meet budgets and deadlines
• Document and assess internal controls and GAAP disclosures for clients
• Communicate with clients and Audit Committee as primary contact
