Job summary

BDO USA, LLP seeks an Assurance Senior to coordinate daily audit activities, oversee staff, and ensure accurate financial statements with disclosures under GAAP. The role involves client contact, potential reviews, and procedures aligned with SEC/PCAOB expectations.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of audit experience, CPA track or degree, and strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and internal controls. Raleigh, NC offers growth within an ESOP-enabled firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or statistics required or CPA
• CPA is required/preferred in certain tracks; CPA exams encouraged
• Master's degree in accountancy preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day audit plan execution with fieldwork and wrap-up
• Supervise and review work of audit staff
• Communicate with clients and audit committee as needed
• Prepare financial statements with disclosures under GAAP
