Job summary

BDO is seeking an Assurance Manager to supervise audit engagements from planning through wrap-up, including review of workpapers and final communications. The role emphasizes guiding staff, ensuring GAAP/GAAS compliance, and engaging in business development to sustain profitability.

The candidate should have 5+ years of relevant experience, a CPA (or international equivalent), and strong leadership and communication skills to effectively interact with clients and firm leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Accounting/Finance/Economics/Statistics preferred.
• Five+ years of audit experience; supervisory experience required.
• Active CPA license or international equivalent; must obtain US CPA if required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Associates and Senior Associates on all projects.
• Review work papers and conclusions; provide feedback.
• Assist client development and engagement profitability, including billings and collections.
• Communicate with Audit Committee and management on key issues.
