Job summary

BDO USA, LLP seeks an Assurance Experienced Manager to supervise, direct, and review audit engagements across planning, field work, and wrap-up stages. The role includes marketing, networking, and business development to ensure engagement profitability, billings, and collections.

Responsibilities include advising clients on regulatory risks, resolving complex accounting issues, GAAP/GAAS application, and documenting financial reporting controls.

Qualifications

• Six or more years of prior relevant audit experience and/or public accounting, private industry accounting, or consulting experience.
• Active licensed US CPA or recognized international equivalent; must obtain US CPA license within defined timeframe if needed.
• Strong GAAP and GAAS knowledge; familiarity with SEC and PCAOB reporting rules.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Associates and Senior Associates on projects and reviews work.
• Ensures engagement profitability including billings and collections.
• Applies BDO methodology and professional standards to engagements and quality reviews.
• Mentors staff, provides on-the-job training, and participates in client communications with the Audit Committee.
