Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an Assurance Experienced Senior to oversee day-to-day audit activities, including planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up, with emphasis on GAAP application and control testing. The role acts as primary client contact and may participate in reviews and agreed-upon procedures engagements.

Candidates should have 3+ years of audit experience, CPA or progress toward certification, and strong supervisory and communication skills. This is an on-site engagement in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA beneficial.
• Three+ years of relevant audit experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to coordinate planning, fieldwork, wrap-up and financial statement preparation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day audit engagement activities with the engagement manager.
• Supervise audit staff and review workpapers and conclusions.
• Plan and execute Section 404 internal control audits.
• Read and review SEC filings for accuracy and completeness.
• Apply GAAP and professional standards to complex client transactions.
• Prepare communications to the Audit Committee and client.
