Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an Assurance Experienced Senior to lead audit engagements, coordinating planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up with a focus on GAAP disclosures. The role includes acting as primary client contact and supervising audit staff to ensure high-quality work.

The successful candidate will bring CPA-eligible or CPA-certified credentials, strong communication skills, and a track record of delivering complex audits for diverse clients.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics; CPA certification preferred OR Master’s degree in Accountancy.
• Three+ years of audit experience in public accounting or related field; supervision experience preferred.
• CPA exam eligibility and pursuit expected; strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statement disclosures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up for audits; ensure timely completion.
• Supervise audit staff and review workpapers; provide feedback to associates.
• Communicate with clients on basic questions; prepare communications to Audit Committee.
