Job summary

BDO USA seeks an Assurance Senior to coordinate day-to-day in-charge duties of planning, fieldwork and wrap-up, including the preparation of financial statements with disclosures and applying GAAP. You will act as the client contact for basic questions and information and may be involved in reviews and agreed-upon procedure engagements.

Ideal candidates demonstrate strong GAAP knowledge, ability to supervise junior staff, and effective communication with clients and teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Statistics, or CPA-qualified with another degree.
• CPA certification or pursuing CPA is preferred.
• Two or more years of prior audit experience.
• Experience supervising staff is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day audit planning, fieldwork and wrap-up activities.
• Prepare financial statements with disclosures and apply GAAP.
• Review and supervise Audit Associates on engagements.
• Communicate with the client and Audit Committee as needed.
