Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an Assurance Experienced Senior to lead day-to-day audit activities, coordinate fieldwork, and ensure rigorous application of GAAP and PCAOB standards. The role involves client contact, review of workpapers, and guiding junior staff through planning, testing, and wrap-up stages.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of relevant audit experience, is CPA-eligible or CPA-certified, and demonstrates strong communication with clients and engagement teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics or CPA-path alternatives.
• Three or more years of audit experience.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day audit duties and fieldwork.
• Review workpapers and help engagement team stay on plan and budget.
• Communicate internal control findings and recommendations to client.
• Plan and execute sections of the audit including 404 IC testing.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, GAAS, SEC, and PCAOB standards.
