Bob's Discount Furniture is hiring a Senior Analyst, Assortment to own analytics driving assortment planning, productivity, and new item performance. The role designs SKUs, informs buying depth, and guides rationalization decisions in partnership with Merchants and Planning leadership.

You will build end-to-end reporting, lead launch scorecards, and refine forecast methodologies with Demand Planning. This is a senior individual contributor role offering growth toward management within analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Statistics, or a related field required.
• 4–7 years of analytical experience in retail merchandising, planning, or analytics preferred.
• Advanced Excel with multi-variable modeling and large datasets; SQL proficiency.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills; experience presenting to senior leadership.
• Experience mentoring analysts and reviewing analytical work for quality.

Responsibilities

• Own assortment productivity reporting end-to-end and ensure accuracy and cadence.
• Lead rationalization analyses for tail SKU exit, consolidation, and transition.
• Define depth/breadth methodology and price-point coverage models.
• Size whitespace opportunities via market, consumer, and competitive analysis.
• Develop launch scorecards and post-launch performance diagnostics.
• Improve forecast accuracy with demand planning inputs and learnings.
