EY-Parthenon in New York is seeking a Senior Associate-Consultant for the Strategy and Execution Tech Private Equity Value Creation practice. You will join a high-impact, fast-paced team delivering operational improvements and strategic recommendations for PE-backed SaaS businesses in the TMT sector.

The role emphasizes data-driven analysis, hypothesis testing, and client-ready deliverables, with significant in-person collaboration at client sites or EY offices, requiring travel and leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or Analytics and 2 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 18 months of related work experience.
• Experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or operating roles with significant exposure to growth, go-to-market, or operational improvement.
• Strong proficiency in Excel modelling, Power Point storytelling and structured problem solving
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables
• Experience developing client presentations and communicating insights effectively
• Understanding financial statements and operational performance metrics.
• Experience leading and managing in complex business environments.
• The expectation for this role is in person teaming, at client site or in an EY office, a minimum of 60% of the time or on average 3 days a week over the course of an engagement, project or performance year.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structured, data-driven analysis to identify root causes and quantify opportunities using Excel and other tools.
• Drive structured analysis to identify root causes, quantify opportunities, and develop actionable, data-backed recommendations across go-to-market, pricing, customer success, product, and operations.
• Develop and test hypotheses to address complex business problems across go-to-market, pricing, customer success, product, and operations.
• Prepare client-ready deliverables and contribute to presentations with increasing independence.
• Support Directors and Partners by preparing materials and insights that help them show up well-informed and impactful at client meetings.
• Take ownership of discrete workstreams and begin to lead internal and client discussions with limited oversight.
• Collaborate with cross-functional client teams and EY-Parthenon colleagues to drive alignment and momentum.
