Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Functional Compensation specialist to drive compensation practices aligned with the firm’s long-term goals. You will partner with HR Product, Engineering, and data stakeholders on performance, talent, promotion, and compensation initiatives.

The role requires 4+ years in HR and project management with strong analytical and data management skills, and the ability to coordinate across global time zones in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4 years of HR and project management experience with strong analytical and data management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams, meet strict deadlines, and coordinate across global time zones.
• Demonstrates a methodological approach to problem solving; attempts problem solving first before turning to others for a solution.
• Synthesizes critical information for key stakeholder and senior leader presentations; records takeaways and decisions from regular meetings with key partners.
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.
• Self-starter with a proactive, client-focused, and results-oriented mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR Product and Engineering to support the end-to-end Annual Planning cycle, managing timelines, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring on-time delivery
• Serve as a compensation subject matter expert for technical partners - translating requirements into actionable guidance and maintaining clear documentation of comp logic and methodology
• Champion an integrated approach across performance, talent, promotion, and compensation by identifying dependencies and ensuring planning tools and processes reflect a cohesive employee and manager experience
• Track and manage cross-functional dependencies across the compensation, Product, and Engineering teams to keep planning workstreams aligned
• Develop and deliver clear, actionable recommendations and presentations for senior management and key stakeholders
• Document decisions, business requirements, and process changes to support system enhancements and planning cycle improvements
