Job summary

System One is seeking a Senior Associate Scientist to support antibody discovery projects in Cambridge, MA. The role focuses on B cell-based workflows, rodent immunization, immune library generation, hybridoma screening, and flow cytometry within an onsite, 40-hour schedule.

You will contribute to therapeutic antibody campaigns, maintain laboratory readiness, document results, and share findings with project teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in biology, immunology, molecular biology, biochemistry or related field with at least 2 years lab experience.
  • Hands-on experience in antibody discovery workflows including flow cytometry, B cell methods, or hybridoma screening.
  • Working knowledge of molecular biology techniques such as PCR and cloning.
  • Experience with laboratory documentation, data organization, and communicating results to project teams.

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Associate Scientist to support antibody discovery projects focused on B cell-based workflows. This role will contribute to therapeutic antibody discovery campaigns using rodent immunization, serum titer screening, B cell sorting by flow cytometry, immune library generation, and hybridoma-based methods.

Responsibilities
  • Provide laboratory support for therapeutic antibody discovery campaigns using flow cytometry, immune library generation, and hybridoma-based methods.
  • Execute established workflows to support rodent immunization studies, serum titer screening, B cell sorting, molecular cloning, and related sample processing activities.
  • Maintain reagent inventories, prepare laboratory materials, and ensure operational readiness for discovery activities.
  • Document experimental procedures, results, and observations accurately in laboratory records and internal data systems.
  • Summarize data and communicate key findings, experimental progress, and campaign outcomes to project teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in biology, immunology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline, with at least 2 years of full-time laboratory experience in an academic or industry setting.
  • Hands-on experience supporting antibody discovery workflows, including flow cytometry, B cell-based methods, or hybridoma-based screening.
  • Working knowledge of molecular biology techniques such as PCR, cloning, and immune library generation or related sample preparation workflows.
  • Experience with laboratory documentation, data organization, and communicating experimental results clearly to project teams.
  • Strong laboratory organization skills, including reagent handling, inventory support, and maintaining materials needed for experimental workflows.
