Biomedicine Design's Endogenous Antibody Discovery Group is seeking a Senior Associate Scientist (contingent worker) to support antibody discovery projects focused on B cell-based workflows.
This role will contribute to therapeutic antibody discovery campaigns using rodent immunization, serum titer screening, B cell sorting by flow cytometry, immune library generation, and hybridoma-based methods.
The successful candidate will execute established laboratory workflows that support immunization-based discovery, including rodent selection, immunization strategies (protein, cell-based, and genetic), serum response evaluation by ELISA, flow cytometry, VH/VL molecular cloning, immune library generation and quality control, electrofusion, and hybridoma culture and screening.
The role will also contribute to the evaluation and implementation of new technologies that enhance immunization and flow cytometry-based antibody discovery workflows in collaboration with other group members.
The successful candidate should bring hands-on experience and technical capability in several of the following areas, aligned with the responsibilities of the role:
Bachelor's degree in biology, immunology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline, with at least 2 years of full-time laboratory experience in an academic or industry setting.
