Job summary

Day Pitney LLP seeks a Corporate Associate/Senior Associate with a minimum of six years of experience in investment management, private funds, and related corporate transactions to join a growing team. The role may be based in any Day Pitney office across several states, including New York.

The candidate will represent managers and sponsors in private funds, negotiate investment documents, and advise on regulatory matters. A hybrid work model is offered with two remote days per week.

Qualifications

• Six or more years of demonstrated experience in investment management, private funds, and related corporate transactions.
• Experience drafting and negotiating sophisticated fund, investment management, and corporate transactional documents.
• Ability to manage matters and client relationships with independence and judgment.
• Experience supervising and mentoring junior attorneys.
• Excellent technical, professional, and client-service skills; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assume substantial responsibility for sophisticated matters and supervise junior attorneys.
• Work directly with clients in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.
• Draft and negotiate investment management and fund-related documents and related agreements.
