Job summary

Day Pitney LLP seeks a seasoned funds attorney to represent investment managers and sponsors in forming open- and closed-end private funds, including hedge funds, private equity, and real estate vehicles.

You will draft and negotiate investment management and fund documents, advise on regulatory matters, and manage multiple client matters while supervising junior attorneys. The role involves extensive collaboration with family offices and institutional investors.

Qualifications

• Experience drafting and negotiating investment management and fund-related documents.
• Advising on regulatory/compliance matters in funds and investment management.
• Experience representing family offices and structuring multi-family offices and executive agreements.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for sophisticated matters and manage multiple workstreams.
• Supervise junior attorneys and work directly with clients.
• Negotiate and document private fund investments, side letters, and governance terms.
