Job summary

Apex Group is a leading global fund administrator and middle office provider headquartered in Bermuda with a strong US presence. We are seeking an experienced Funds Accountant to manage NAV calculation, financial statement preparation, and investor reporting for Private Equity and Hybrid Funds based in Reston, VA.

You will sign off on financials, support audits, and drive process improvements while maintaining client relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in PERE or Hybrid Fund accounting.
• Experience with Investran, eFront and macro-enabled workbooks.
• Experience supporting audits and ad hoc client requests.
• Strong accounting knowledge and financial statement prep.
• Strong written and oral communication; client relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Review and sign off NAV and financials for PE and Hybrid Funds.
• Process capital calls and distributions and notify investors.
• Onboard new funds and migrate to accounting platforms.
• Develop customized client reporting templates.
• Coordinate with onshore teams, clients and auditors to meet deadlines.
• Identify process improvements to boost efficiency.
