Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• Knowledge of Fund Administration (Private Equity and/or Hedge Fund accounting) a plus.
• CPA/MBA/Master’s Degree is an advantage.
• Ability to work towards and meet agreed deadlines.
• Paxus, Geneva, Investran or eFront experience would be an advantage.
• Prior experience with incentive fees, waterfall distributions, allocations, financial statements and/or subsequent closes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform and coordinate a variety of administrative duties including cash reconciliations and GL journal entries.
• Prepare accounting trial balance work papers and financial statements.
• Maintain confidential institutional and high-net worth investor data.
• Deliver client reports and investor services including client web portals.
• Develop ad hoc reporting as needed and ensure timely NAV calculations.
• Process investment, cash, accrual, and capital transactions for funds.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and fund specifications.
• Provide guidance to fund accountants and train new staff as needed.
• Communicate with clients to address questions or concerns.
• Review funds and NAVs for accuracy and proper documentation.
