Job summary
Ares Management is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Investment Operations team and support the firm’s growing private debt platform.
You will work at the center of the private credit investment lifecycle — partnering with investment professionals, Portfolio Management, Trading, Legal, Compliance, Fund Accounting, Performance, and Technology to ensure complex private debt investments are accurately captured, operationally ready, and supported by high-quality data from day one.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in investment operations or middle office.
- Experience with private debt, bank loans, or note investments.
- Ability to read and operationalize lengthy legal docs.
Responsibilities
- Review and interpret complex investment documentation to set up investments.
- Lead onboarding of new private debt investments across systems.
- Capture and maintain critical deal and security-level data.
- Collaborate with Compliance on structure data and entities.
- Work with Tech to enhance onboarding workflows and automate processes.
