This hands-on role works closely with a senior credit operations leader and the investment team across trade processing, data aggregation, portfolio compliance, and loan agency activity.

The ideal candidate has 3–6 years in investment operations or related areas, strong AI experience, data fluency, and some coding ability (Python or SQL).

Associate, Investment Operations - Private Credit Platform

Compensation: $110-160k total comp, based on experience

We’re partnered with a growing alternative investment firm in NYC that is expanding its private credit platform and looking to add a Credit Operations Associate.

This is a hands-on, highly visible role working directly with a senior credit operations leader and the investment team across trade processing, data aggregation, portfolio compliance, and loan agency activity. The Associate will help execute day-to-day investment activity while improving the processes and infrastructure that support a growing, mixed credit strategy. The team is especially interested in someone who is strong with technology and data, uses AI effectively, and is eager to deepen their knowledge of credit operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Process trades and help coordinate closing, funding, and settlement activity
• Aggregate and validate investment and portfolio data across systems
• Support portfolio compliance monitoring and resolve data or trade breaks

Requirements

• Approximately 3-6 years of relevant experience in investment operations, credit, trading support, or a similar role
• Strong AI skills, with examples of how you’ve applied AI tools to real work
• Excellent data skills and comfort learning new systems
• Some coding or scripting ability, such as Python or SQL
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage time-sensitive work
• Genuine interest in learning the full credit investment lifecycle; direct credit operations experience is a plus
