Job summary

State Street in Boston is seeking a Senior Associate to support the private credit fund services group, handling investment and fund performance data, general ledger maintenance, and client reporting. You will work with a team delivering end-to-end accounting and reporting for premier real estate fund clients.

The role emphasizes accurate financial statement support, capital calls and distributions, and facilitating efficient communications with auditors, tax, lawyers, and banking personnel.

Qualifications

• Experience leading verbal and written communications at senior levels with internal and external clients
• Fund accounting or Public Accounting experience

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the general ledger for various fund entities
• Preparing supporting work papers for financial statements, portfolio schedules and capital account allocations
• Analytical review of monthly/quarterly investment and fund performance data
• Reviewing and/or preparing capital calls, distributions and bank reconciliations
• Preparing management, annual and incentive fee calculations
• Preparing various client correspondences
• Calculating waterfalls and capital account allocations
• Special projects as requested
