Job summary

State Street is seeking a Senior Associate in the Private Equity and Real Assets Fund Services group. You will lead accounting and reporting for global real estate funds, preparing financial statements and performance analyses while supporting day-to-day administration for premier clients.

You will coordinate with clients, auditors, tax and banking contacts, ensuring accurate capital calls, distributions, and compliance with fund documents.

Qualifications

• Fund accounting or Public Accounting experience
• CPA or actively pursuing CPA certification
• Experience leading verbal and written communications at senior levels with internal and external clients
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task and to work efficiently to meet client deliverables

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger for fund entities
• Prepare supporting work papers for financial statements, portfolio schedules and capital account allocations
• Prepare financial statements and footnote disclosures
• Analytical review of monthly/quarterly investment and fund performance data
• Review and/or prepare capital calls, distributions and bank reconciliations
• Prepare management, annual and incentive fee calculations
• Prepare various client correspondences
• Calculate waterfalls and capital account allocations
• Undertake special projects as requested
