Job summary

IQ-EQ in the United States is seeking a Senior Managing Director for Private Equity and Hedge Fund Accounting (CFO Services). You will lead client engagements, guide accounting principles, and oversee audits and tax filings while mentoring staff within a hybrid work model.

With 15+ years in alternative investment management and a CPA, you will drive financial reporting excellence and client satisfaction across private equity, hedge funds, and related vehicles.

Qualifications

• Over 15 years in alternative investment management (hedge funds, private equity, VC, real estate).
• Licensed CPA with BSBA in accounting; in-house experience preferred.
• Deep fund accounting and financial reporting expertise.

Responsibilities

• Serve as client lead, building relationships and guiding accounting principles.
• Lead and mentor teams; ensure timely deliverables and process improvements.
• Oversee audits, tax filings, NAV reporting, and fee calculations for accuracy.
• Manage onboarding, cash management, budgeting, and advisory services.
• Supervise staff; participate in meetings and trainings.
